Class Schedule: October 2011
Please register early and pay one week before class to hold your spot. Classes fill up quickly.

Tuesday morning: 11.00 to 1.00: FIX IT CLINIC

Bring in your work or ongoing project or the mistakes your made during your weekend knitting. We fix it, show you how to fix it, check the gauge, give advice with the pattern etc. Sliding fee scale ($ 2.00 to $ 5.00) depending on the “size” of the problem

Tuesday night: Beginning Knitting 7:00 to 8:30 pm. Learn the basics and make a hat in the process.

$ 40.00 for 3 sessions, plus materials.

Wednesday: Beginning Knitting 9:00 to 10:30 am. Learn the basics and make a hat in the process.
If we have no signups for beginner’s class, Wednesday morning is also a time to pop in and get help with your projects. Please call ahead, 753-9835

Wednesday night: Wednesday night: UFO Night (Unfinished Objects). Usually a started project ends up in the pile of unfinished items if we hit a snag, loose the pattern, discover it does not quite fit right etc. Get help with it from start to finish. 7:00 to 9:00 pm $ 10.00 per session, call to reserve your spot.

Tuesday afternoon/Wednesday night with Mary: Make your first afghan.

Mary will instruct you how to make a beautiful afghan for yourself or to give as a Christmas gift. In the process you learn 6 different stitch patterns and how to assemble it. $ 60.00 for class, materials extra. (6 week class).

Thursday nights: 7:00 to 9:00 Sit and knit. Bring your knitting and snacks, $ 5.00 if you need help with project.

NEW PROJECT CLASSES ON Thursday morning 9.00 to 10.00 am. Learn a new technique and create beautiful accessories in the process. $ 10.00 per session.

SOCKCLUB: Meets first Thursday of the month. For advanced sock knitters. We will be working on different techniques, patterns, heels etc. Bring your ideas, yarn and needles. Membership is $ 20.00 per year. With your membership you will get free sock patterns/class hand outs and a 10 % discount on all sock related purchases, needles, books, yarn.

Friday: Sweater class/Finishing ongoing, $ 10.00 per session. 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, call to reserve your spot

Saturday:
9:00 to 10:00 am Kids knitting by appointment. 3 sessions $ 30.00. Children will learn the basics as well as decreasing and make a coin purse in the process.

Saturday Crochet Class with Barbara: 10.00 to 12.00 ongoing. 10.00 per session. Learn the basics or come with a project in mind. This class meets every Saturday, call to reserve your spot.

Saturday Sock Class 2:00 to 4:00 Basic Socks with Nancy. Learn to knit a sock from scratch. Teaches gauge, cast on, heel, and toe. 3 sessions $ 40.00. Starts usually on the first Saturday of the month (with some exceptions).

Each of us is also available for private sessions. $ 12.00 per hour, please call to schedule. If there is anything you would like to learn but do not see it on the list, please contact us. We can teach you almost anything to do with knitting, crochet, hand spinning and needle felting.

Hand Spinning Classes are always by appointment Sunday or Monday. Class fee for both sessions is $ 45.00 and includes use of a wheel and materials. Spinning Class meets twice for 2 hrs. per session.

Classes, unless specified do not include materials. It is advisable to come in and purchase materials for class before classes start.
